The Process
A few things people ask
Do I need to be an active event-goer to use Kindred Match?
You need an active Kindred membership, which is free. Attending events isn't required, but members who have attended are prioritized. it gives us more to work with when finding your match.
What exactly does "5 guaranteed introductions" mean?
We commit to making five personal introductions. five real Kindred members, hand-selected for compatibility with you. Introductions are spaced out over time so each one gets the attention it deserves. If we can't find a suitable match at any point, we'll hold your request until the right person joins our community.
How long does the process take?
Most introductions are made within 7–10 days of your previous one concluding. The full package is typically delivered over 3–6 months, depending on availability in your area and how each introduction unfolds.
What if I need a break between introductions?
Life happens. travel, family, work, or simply needing time to reflect after a meaningful connection. You can pause your Kindred Select introductions for up to 90 days. Just let us know and we'll hold your remaining matches until you're ready to continue.
That's perfectly okay. and expected sometimes. Each of your five introductions stands on its own. There's no pressure, no obligation, and no judgment. We move forward and find the next person when you're ready.
Is my information kept private?
Absolutely. We share only your first name and a brief profile summary with your match. nothing more. Both parties consent to the introduction before any contact information is exchanged.
Can I submit a request for a friend?
Kindred Match is self-directed — the request should come from the member themselves. That said, if you know someone who'd be a great Kindred member, encourage them to join. Membership is free.
