Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Kindred Social LLC. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, membership, and participation in events and services, including Kindred Match and Kindred Select. By joining, registering, or attending a Kindred Social event, you agree to comply with these Terms.

Membership Eligibility

  • Membership is open to singles 40 years of age and older.

  • All memberships are subject to approval to maintain a safe and respectful environment.

  • Members must provide accurate information during registration. False information may result in termination of membership without refund.

  • Membership is for individual use only and cannot be shared, transferred, or assigned.

Membership Types

  • Free Membership: No cost to join; members pay per event.

  • Monthly Membership: Access to 2 events per month for a flat monthly fee.

  • Kindred Select: A limited-capacity membership tier offering curated, intimate events, subject to separate application and terms available on our Kindred Select page.

  • All memberships are non-transferable and revocable at our discretion for violations of these Terms or inappropriate conduct.

Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds and event cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy, available on our website. By registering for an event, you acknowledge and accept those terms.

Personal Conduct

  • Kindred Social is built on kindness, inclusion, and authenticity.

  • Harassment, discrimination, aggressive behavior, or solicitation of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from an event and/or termination of membership.

  • Members agree not to use Kindred Social to promote personal businesses or unrelated events without written permission.

Liability Disclaimer

Participation in any Kindred Social event or service, including Kindred Match and Kindred Select, is voluntary and at your own risk. Kindred Social LLC, its organizers, employees, and affiliates are not responsible for personal injury, loss, damages, or disputes arising from your participation in events, use of our services, or interactions with other members — whether occurring at a Kindred Social event or otherwise. Members are responsible for their own interactions and agree to exercise discretion and judgment in meeting others. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kindred Social LLC from any claims arising from your participation.

Third-Party Venues

Events may be held at third-party venues. Kindred Social LLC is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or conditions of these venues or their staff.

Photos and Media

By attending events, you grant Kindred Social LLC permission to use event photos or videos featuring you for promotional purposes, unless you opt out in writing prior to the event.

Privacy

We respect your privacy. Personal information will only be used to manage your participation and communicate event information. For details, please see our Privacy Policy.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Modifications to These Terms

Kindred Social LLC may update these Terms at any time. The revised version will be posted on our website. Continued use of membership or event participation constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
