KINDRED SOCIAL
The Kindred Cup
Here is the simple idea. Our four locations, Westlake, Ventura, San Fernando Valley, and South Bay, go head to head to see who can bring the most men into their events. There are two ways to win, so more than one of us walks away happy. One location takes the Location Track. One person takes the Gentlemen Track. And everyone who takes part has a real shot at the grand prize.
The grand prize: one placement in Kindred Match, our curated introductions experience, valued at $1,999. Awarded by a random drawing at the close of the competition, so it stays lucky and light rather than a foregone conclusion.
The two tracks
You do not have to choose. Taking part in one helps the other. Here is how each one works.

One thing on who counts. The men you bring should be single and genuinely open to meeting new people, in keeping with who our community is for. No married brothers along for the snacks. Each man confirms he is single on the same opt in form, so it stays easy and on the honor system.
How the drawing works
Entries stack. Here is how you collect them:
Every new man you personally introduce who attends earns you one entry. Bring as many as you like, there is no cap.
The winning location unlocks a bonus batch of entries shared among everyone who attended there, so a strong location lifts all of its people.
At the close, we draw one name. That person receives the Kindred Match placement.
If you attend more than one location
Plenty of our members float between locations, so here is the plain version of how that is handled. It comes down to one line.
A new man equals one entry. The same man again equals zero, no matter where he turns up.
For the locations: a man is counted at the event he attends. If he comes to a Ventura event and a South Bay event, each of those rooms rightly counts him for its own night. He helped fill two rooms, so two rooms get the credit.
For the Gentlemen Track: you earn your entry the first time a new man you introduced attends anywhere. If he shows up again at another location, that is wonderful, but it does not create a second entry, because he is no longer a new introduction.
If you attend two locations yourself and bring a different new man to each, you earn credit for both. The rule is about the man being new, not about the location.
A returning man who is not new still helps his location every single time he attends. Locations are rewarded for keeping men coming back, individuals are rewarded for widening the net.
Keeping it fair and clean
Every man counted opts in himself through the event form, so consent stays clear and on the level.
We measure each location against its own history, so our largest and smallest locations compete on equal terms.
Bring as many men as you like. The shared location pool means everyone still has a real shot at the drawing, so there is no cap on individual entries.
The men you bring are single and open to meeting people, so the room stays true to who our community is for.
A running leaderboard goes out in the newsletter and on social so you can follow the race.
