Today, Saturday morning, Kindred members gathered for our Hike & Connect event, and it turned out to be the perfect way to start the weekend. With beautiful weather, scenic surroundings, and an amazing group of Kindred singles, the hike set the tone for relaxed conversation and genuine connection.
We were thrilled to welcome new members who bravely came out on their own to meet other local singles. As always, the Kindred spirit shined through! Friendly, welcoming, and supportive. Walking side by side made it easy to chat, laugh, and connect naturally, proving once again that meaningful connections don’t have to happen across a table or a screen.
The hike was approximately two miles, at a comfortable pace that allowed everyone to enjoy the experience without feeling rushed. And adding to the fun, we even had a Kindred puppy join us on the trail! The extra dose of joy and wagging tails reminded us that connection comes in many forms. Members are welcome to bring their furry friends to future hikes if they’d like.
We loved this experience so much that we’re excited to share that Kindred Hikes will now be a monthly event. It’s a wonderful way to stay active, enjoy the outdoors, and continue building our local singles community. Looking ahead, we’ll also be adding a club phone number for members who need to reach out to us more easily during events, another step toward making every Kindred experience smooth and stress-free.
As we head into the holiday season, Kindred will be taking a short break, but we’ll be back in full force next month! Our first event of the new year is on January 9 at The Tipsy Goat, where we’ll be hosting a fun-filled Trivia Night. Get ready to laugh, play, and enjoy an amazing evening while meeting new friends and reconnecting with familiar faces.
We hope to see even more of you on the trail and at Trivia Night very soon. Whether you’re a current member or brand new to Kindred, lace up your hiking shoes, bring your smile (and maybe your pup!), and come connect with us.
