Kindred Social: Over 50 Mixer Recap at Crawford’s Social

Our latest Kindred Social mixer for singles over 50 was another incredible evening of connection, community, and momentum on Mach 28. Crawford’s Social has now become our official end of the month gathering spot, giving our members a consistent and welcoming place to come together. At this event, we welcomed over 65 attendees, continuing to build on the energy and success of our growing community.
One of the most exciting highlights from this event was the noticeable improvement in our men to women ratio. Our ongoing efforts to encourage more men to attend are clearly paying off, and we want to give a special shoutout to the men who showed up on their own, ready to meet and genuinely connect. That kind of openness is what makes these events so meaningful.
As always, the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Several attendees shared that they have started going on dates with fellow Kindred members, which is exactly why we do what we do. Hearing real connections are forming beyond the events is both rewarding and motivating for us.
With this being our 8th event since launching Kindred, we are continuously learning and improving. We now have a dedicated space on the Agoura terrace, creating a more comfortable and inviting environment. We are also enhancing our beverage offerings, with cocktails set to be introduced at the next event, and we will be incorporating more interactive icebreakers to make connecting even easier.
What has been especially inspiring is seeing the Kindred culture begin to take shape. Familiar faces are returning, friendships are forming, and there is a genuine sense of belonging developing within the group. It is no longer just an event, it is becoming a community.
Kindred is a community of singles focused first on building genuine friendships, with the understanding that romantic connections may naturally develop over time. This is not a pick up spot. If that is your expectation, you will probably be disappointed. Our goal is to create a respectful, comfortable environment where meaningful connections can grow organically.
The beautiful weather certainly did not hurt, providing the perfect backdrop for a relaxed and engaging evening. It is always an honor to host these gatherings and create a safe, welcoming space where singles can meet with confidence.
Looking ahead, we have some exciting additions in store, including Kindred tshirts, gift card giveaways, expanded drink selections, and continued efforts to attract even more men to achieve the best possible balance.
We also need your help, bring a single male friend, colleague, or relative to the next event. The women in our community will definitely thank you, and you will be helping us continue to build the kind of balanced, engaging environment that makes Kindred so special.
