Kindred’s Biggest Social Mixer Yet – 75+ Singles, 80s Music & So Many New Connections

Friday, February 27 at Crawford's Social was one for the books! Our Kindred Social Mixer had our largest turnout yet, with over 75 singles filling the room with energy, laughter, and nonstop conversation. Even more exciting, we had new guests sign up during the event because they could feel what makes Kindred different the moment they walked in.

The room was alive with 80s music, great vibes, and genuine connection. I spared everyone from an official karaoke performance… but I could not resist dancing to Bon Jovi and singing along just a little. Sorry everyone. Some songs simply demand participation 🙂

What thrilled me most was seeing so many of you truly connecting. Conversations flowed effortlessly. New friendships began forming. Sparks were flying in some corners of the room. It was beautiful to witness.

We also welcomed guests from other parts of LA who asked if we could bring Kindred closer to them. We hear you. We listen. And we are excited to share that our first Valley event is launching next month. Stay tuned for the date and location.

I was especially grateful for the thoughtful feedback and suggestions from our current members. Please know that your voice matters. We welcome your ideas and are always listening as we continue building this community together.

It is a personal honor to hear how much you enjoy these events and how meaningful they are to you. Kindred was created to give singles over 50 a place to gather, connect, and feel comfortable walking into a room where everyone is in the same season of life. Some of you are looking for friendship. Some are looking for companionship. Some are open to something deeper. Whatever you are searching for, we are truly honored to be the connecting factor in your journey.
